Software Developer –  Object Oriented Languages – C +, C#, Java, Python 3, Physics, Modelling, Maths, Simulation

As a Software Developer, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Degree qualified or higher in software engineering, or a relevant physics, engineering or maths discipline with strong software content.

You need to be competent at programing in object oriented languages like C++ 11/14 and Python 3 or C#/Java.

Our client will consider bright Graduates with C++ skills, good degree in Software Engineering, Physics or Maths discipline with strong software content.

It is desirable, though not essential, that you have a working knowledge of libraries and frameworks like Boost and Qt and of cross-platform development for Windows and Linux.

You should take a keen interest in software engineering and be ready to apply your up-to-date knowledge to the group’s products.

In addition to the technical capabilities, the following competences and personal qualities are also important:

As a Software Developer, your main Responsibilities will involve:

Develop and support an application used for multi-physics simulation, including UI/UX and software infrastructure.

Assist in planning and strategy, using agile methods, for the future evolution of the group’s software products, including a new and exciting range of applications for engineering application led simulation.

Participate in the wider activities of the software development group and cooperate with other teams to advance the group’s software products.
