According to career advisors, graduate job vacancies are rising in the UK. Half of career advisers surveyed by The Times Higher Education said they’d seen higher proportions of students and graduates gaining work after graduation, which gives an optimistic outlook for the year ahead. Science, engineering and IT were shown to have the most increase in graduate opportunities.

And that’s not the only good news for the beginning of 2017…

Towards the end of 2016, the service sector enjoyed accelerated growth; and new businesses increased at the fastest rate since July 2015.

Growth of employment was maintained for the fifth month running in December, while the rate of job creation remained on a seven-month high. Business expectations are therefore high, and there are suggestions that the UK could create 400,000 jobs if it quits the customs union after Brexit.
