Customer Insight Analyst / User Research Analyst – Cyber Security, Web Security, Penetration Testing

 

Job Role:  Customer Insight Analyst

Requirements for the role of Customer Insight Analyst :

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to initiate and maintain conversations with users. You thrive on asking the seemingly obvious questions, delving into users' challenges, what capabilities they need, and how they expect to use our (or related) products.
  • An excellent understanding of how to run qualitative and quantitative research/insight projects. Have a structured process for interviewing users or customers (you’ve probably done it before.) You are great at asking questions.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience, giving you the ability to drive evidence-based product and design decisions. Contribute to all phases of research activity; from discovery, through planning, execution, analysis and the generation of actionable insight (to inform hypotheses and test ideas).
  • The ability to use data & analysis to draw conclusions from the information the company has  available.
  • The ability to learn quickly about their client’s market, including penetration testers, security engineers, and software developers to understand their needs and choices. You don’t have to have a background in penetration testing to thrive in this job, but - if not - you’ll have evidence of learning about a new field in the past.
  • The relationship-building ability to partner with product and growth teams and help the team make the hard choices about where to invest in improving the product and the user experience.
  • Experience feeding inputs into product development and defining stories/user experiences for roadmap prioritisation.

 

Qualifications

A degree or professional qualification in a related field such as Psychology, Social Research, Human Factors or Design; or equivalent professional experience

Salary:  Highly competitive c £40,000 to £60,000 plus pension, share option, life assurance, income protection, medical, 25 days holiday
