HR Assistant / Human Resources Assistant

Location:  Knutsford, Cheshire

Salary:  £30,000 to £45,000

 

Our client is world leading Software house developing and testing web security and cyber security Software.  An exciting opportunity has arisen to kick-start your people-related / HR / Human Resources career.  Have you recently finished, or are about to finish, your master’s or PhD degree in a people-related course (for example, but not limited to Organisational Psychology / Business Psychology / People Analytics / Social Sciences / Behavioural Economics) and are looking for a role that will allow you to use your knowledge in creative and innovative ways. If so, this maybe the role for you…. this role is office based and located in Knutsford, Cheshire. A generous base salary will be offered as well as share options and a comprehensive benefits package.  Please note this is 100% inhouse role.

 

Day to day duties of HR Assistant / Human Resources Assistant:

  • Reviewing and providing suggestions on potential improvements to our client’s current processes, such as feedback, onboarding, and recruitment.
  • This may involve collecting information from colleagues (through surveys and focus groups), comparing our client’s current performance against our clients’ goals, suggesting areas for further improvement, implementing, testing and analysing outcomes.
  • Running culture focus groups and surveys. These need to be carefully structured to give our client a richer understanding of their culture and how it is evolving by conducting statistical analysis.
  • Supporting recruitment processes (i.e., following up with candidates, psychometric testing, interviewing, and onboarding new joiners.)
  • Using an evidence-based approach to test for aptitude, personality and behavioural attributes that help employees to thrive in our collaborative culture and identifying how these could be incorporated into our client’s recruitment process.
  • You will be a central point of contact for people-related questions and signposting to suitable resources.
  • Supporting the well-being of all employees by being a friendly face and empathetic ear.
