Human Resources – HR Bid Manager

 

Our client is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Bid Manager (18 month Fixed Term Contract) to be responsible for providing strategic HR input as part of a larger bid management team.  The role will incorporate aspects such as organisational design, and development, business change and transition including TUPE.

 

The incumbent will be required to engage with the business and technical solution owners to identify people issues, risks and dependencies associated with the HR bid solution as well as liaise closely with the HR SM Team to ensure the impacts and requirements of bids are fully understood and utilized in project mobilization and transfer to business as usual stages.  This role is based at Bournemouth International Airport, Christchurch, Dorset.

 

As Human Resources Bid Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Significant HR experience at a senior management level ideally obtained within the Aviation industry.

Recent experience of management of complex business change and organisational design projects

Experience of successfully leading change projects within operational and heavily regulated environments.

Degree calibre or equivalent relevant experience

Member CIPD (essential)

Extensive experience around employee engagement, HR transformation and implementation.

Excellent understanding of UK employment law and typical UK benefits structures.

Excellent working knowledge of employment law with the ability to apply it practically and commercially within workplace situations.

Excellent communicator (verbal and written communication)

Excellent interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships based on trust at all levels.

Ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Flexible to travel and work from different UK locations from time to time.

Focused on delivery with excellent time management skills.

 

As Human Resources Bid Manager your responsibilities will include:

To provide commercially focused strategic HR input and solutions on all key HR aspects of the business development bid campaign.

Undertake due diligence and identification of HR implications, risk analyses, legal contractual negotiation of HR schedules as part of the business bid process.

Responsible for bid response preparation and solution development with business teams.

To lead the provision of HR related data and input into the bid submission, which will include leading the writing of HR sections, working and agreeing mobilisation timelines, working with specialist partners on recruitment strategies, learning and development strategies and TUPE, resourcing and restructuring.

Creation and delivery of transformation plans including consultation, restructuring and harmonization of terms and conditions to minimize multitier workforce and employee relations issues.

Provide HR data support for the organizational design (in liaison with the HR team) with regards to staff numbers and costs for UK locations, organizational structures, staffing scenarios, drafting RASCI’s and Job Descriptions as required.
