Licensed Aircraft Engineer - B1


Our client is currently recruiting for B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer. This will be to work on Base and line maintenance of Cobham’s fleet of Falcon 20’s. This role is based at Bournemouth International Airport, Christchurch, Dorset.


As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Previous experience in line and base maintenance

Commercial background, working to tight timetables

EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence B1 with no restrictions (desirable)

Falcon 20 type rating (desirable)


As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer your main responsibilities will involve: 

Taking responsibility for all trades engaged in work on an aircraft which has been allocated

Assuming overall responsibility for all trades engaged in work on the aircraft allocated

Monitoring the staff under your control

Completion of tasks as requested by the Senior Engineers and management team

Aircraft preparation

Routine maintenance checks and airworthiness queries


What we will be looking for in you:

A self-starter who looks for solutions to problems

Experience in delivering customer service

A willingness to work flexible hours and overseas to support detachments when required


The hours are Mon-Thurs 8-4 Fri 8-3.30 = 37hrs. Overtime is available.
