Manufacturing Engineer – Electro Mechanical Engineering Devices


A superb opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a fast growing and leading provider of real time 3D imaging and patient monitoring solutions for radiotherapy cancer treatment.


This is a hands-on role for a Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on working within a production environment. This person will be pro-active in the introduction of new products as well as maintaining and improving existing products. This person can adopt state of the art technologies applied to medium volume production.


Duties and Responsibilities – Manufacturing Engineer:

Electro Mechanical Engineering background, this is a hands-on role.

Introducing Change Orders into production ensuring that all aspects relating to manufacture are considered and implemented.

Interface to R&D and Product Realization to ensure manufacturability is a fundamental consideration for new products.

Developing and improving test equipment within production.

Support the Production Manager with day-to-day demands within production.

Support the Production Team Leader to manufacture products when demand exceeds resource.

Creating and improving existing work instructions.

Interface on a technical level with suppliers for non-conforming issues.


Skills, Capabilities and Knowledge – Manufacturing Engineer:


HNC/HND or a Degree in Engineering with a manufacturing bias or equivalent training/experience in a production environment.

Apprentice served useful.

Electromechanical engineering background

Demonstrates a methodical approach to problems.

Ability to manage multiple projects.

Ability to interact with people from different cultures and at all levels in organizations



Demonstrates understanding of a Change Order process.

Demonstrates a hand-on approach to manufacturing.

Experience in Material Requirement Planning.
