Safety & Compliance Coordinator

 

Our client is currently recruiting for a Safety & Compliance Coordinator to be responsible for acting in support of the Safety & Compliance Technical Services Manager in the day-to-day administration of the Engineering Safety & Compliance Department.  This role will be located in Christchurch, Dorset.

 

As a Safety & Compliance Coordinator your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Educated to A-Level Standard or suitable equivalent

Office / Business Management / Clerical Administration qualification

Experience in Office Management / Administration

Experience in Analytics

Experience of Safety Management Systems

Experience of Quality Management Systems

Experience / Knowledge of Civil and Military Aviation Regulations

Experience / Knowledge of Industry Standards – ISO 9001, AS9100, etc…

Civil and/or military aviation experience

Experience in performing/receiving audits

 

As a Safety & Compliance Coordinator your main responsibilities will involve:

Safety Occurrence Report Management

Administration of Safety Occurrence Reports in AQD

Administration of the Occurrence Review Meeting (ORM) Agenda

Administration and follow-up of Open Actions from Safety Occurrence Reports with relevant

Routine analyses of Safety Occurrence Report to identify adverse and/or emerging trends Routine analyses of Safety Investigation Causal and Contributing Factors to identify adverse and/or emerging trends

Provision of routine Safety Reports / Graphs in support of any analysis completed

Support and contribution to: Occurrence Review Meeting, Safety Review Meeting and Engineering Safety Action Group, as required.

Annual Audit Plan

Administration to ensure compliance to the full scope of Regulatory & Industry Standards is achieved

Administration and follow-up of Open Non-Conformances and Actions in AQD with relevant Action Owners to ensure timely and accurate responses

Routine analysis of Non-conformances raised from Audit to identify any adverse trends to support a Risk and Performance Based Audit Plan

Routine analysis if Supplier Failure Reports to identify any adverse trends to support a Risk and Performance Based Audit Plan

Provision of routine Audit Status and Non-Conformance Status Reports / Graphs in support of any analysis completed
