System Simulation Engineer – Systems Engineer & Modelling – Electronic Warfare, Radar, Communication, Wireless Systems 


Our client is a highly successful well established Aerospace/Defence company. They are looking for a System Simulation Engineer to own and take responsibility for the link budget and end-to-end system simulation. 


As a System Simulation Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Simulation of complex wireless systems (Preferably LTE)

  • MATLAB (Preferably Simulink)

  • Link budget analysis

  • Understanding of Antennas and installed performance

  • Experience in Electronic warfare (Radar, Communications Systems, Antennas, Surveillance Systems).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to team members and management

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering or engineering related discipline.

  • All applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance.


As a Systems Simulation Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Own the link budget

  • Own the end-to-end system simulation

  • Create the required scenarios to model

  • Create and validate the simulation

  • Discuss and agree interfaces with other engineering disciplines

  • Provide regular outputs to influence and test designs
