Job Overview
As a UI/UX Architect you will be responsible for driving and owning the vision and roadmap of the architectural development of the UI/UX over multiple products into an integrated solution for the Wireless Network Test and Measurement product.
Key Responsibilities for the UI/UX Architect:
- Owning and driving the requirements and architectural design of the UI/UX improvements, that meet the requirements on time and cost
- Design demonstrably high-quality, efficient and high-performance solutions to integrated control and measurements based on Windows and/or Linux OS’s
- Directing how the UI/UX will be tested at unit, component and system levels within a Continuous Integration environment
- Actively contribute to release planning and drive for high-quality solutions which meet business and customer needs
- Contributing to daily stand-ups, kick-offs, collaborative estimation and retrospective meetings
- Collaborate with designers and frontend/UI engineers from conceptualization to implementation to ensure user requirements are met
- Convey UX recommendations clearly with high-quality artifacts to product designers, engineers, managers, and business stakeholders
- Line management responsibility
Your skills and qualifications for the UI/UX Architect will ideally include:
- Honours degree in an Engineering or Scientific discipline, preferably within the Mobile Communications industry.
- Experience of database tool
- Experience of RESTful API’s
- Experience of driving Test-Driven Development
- Understanding 3GPP specifications
- Full and extensive experience of owning the User Interface, Automation, and overall User Experience of successfully integrated systems into a solution
- Extensive experience of control and measurement of systems, preferably within the Mobile Communications industry
- In-depth experience with directing the requirements and architectural designs over multiple teams in multiple locations of high-performance distributed components and API’s working on Windows and/or Linux using C#, C++, C and/or Python
- Experience with providing a successful SPOC automated solution
- In-depth understanding and experience of Docker Containers, Podman or other tools to virtualize components
- Thorough experience of the software development life cycle
- Ability to provide clear, portable, maintainable, efficient design solutions and presenting them to leading stakeholders
- Ability and willingness to work methodically within defined processes and helping to improve them
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and inspire at all levels
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships cross-functionally
- Influences stakeholders in the wider industry
- Proven role model with the ability to instigate and lead change

Salary: £60,000 to £90,000 plus 10% bonus and numerous excellent benefits
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire / Hybrid role
