This role will involve acting as the operations point-of-contact, including customer forecast and repairs as appropriate.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all of the necessary actions are taken to satisfy demand and tasks are completed to cost and schedule. This may include supporting the provision of stock to meet contractual turnaround times whilst optimising stock levels

Skills and qualifications will ideally include at least 2+ years’ experience working in production control within a technology company (ideally in the mechanical/aerospace sector).  You should also possess knowledge of supply chain activities, including the transformation of components into a finished product that is delivered to the end customer.

They are also looking for an Inventory Lead to implement appropriate inventory strategies to ensure that materials for production, spares and repairs are available to meet build line and customer contractual commitments.

You will be part of the Own the Plan For Every Part (PFEP) process, coordinating inputs from the commercial, procurement, engineering and operations functions.   

Skills and qualifications will ideally include 5+ years’ experience in inventory planning and analysis within a technology-based company, ideally within aerospace and defence or a similar type of industry.

You should have a degree level qualification (MCIPS, APICs or similar) and have significant enterprise resource planning (ERP) and forecast management experience. The right candidate should also have knowledge of master production scheduling, product definition, capacity requirements planning, contractual flow downs and supply chains.
