This is a permanent role with hybrid and flexible working options and offers a salary of up to £26,000. As an IT Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the internal IT helpdesk and responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Monitoring the use of software (e.g. Microsoft) and hardware (e.g. printers) and looking for ways to improve our existing systems
  • Training and assisting with IT inductions for new starters
  • Liaising with third party suppliers
  • Ordering and setting up new and replacement IT equipment
  • Updating technology and tools to ensure the latest products, documents and relevant software’s are accessible and communicating prospective changes to employees

This role will require occasional travel to other offices.

What Are They Looking For?

Ideally you will have one year of relevant work experience, but it is not essential. You should have a minimum of 3 A-levels at grades A to C (or equivalent). A university degree with a 2:1 or above is desired but not essential. You should have a strong aptitude for IT and be able to pick up new tech quickly.

The right candidate will also be super organised and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. You should have a high attention to detail and accuracy, with strong communication skills- both written and verbal.
