Gregory Martin is currently seeking a Commercial Officer in the engineering/defence sector in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward thinking team who work on manufacturing bespoke engineering systems. You will be involved in day-to-day contract management, ensuring bids and ensuring proposals comply with the company’s process. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contract agreements.
The right candidate will have excellent negotiation and influencing skills and a clear understanding of legal concepts. Ideally, you will also have a law degree or one in a business related subject or equivalent.
They are also looking for a Senior Commercial Manager in engineering/defence in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
You will head up the commercial function in the maritime division, and be responsible for all aspects of commercial and contract management.
This role involves working alongside other parts of the business, driving through commercial practice. The ideal candidate will have a very strong commercial/contracts management background. You would have previously worked within engineering/defence/ manufacturing sectors, preferably with experience of UK MoD Defcons.
You should have experience in intellectual property licensing, with your qualifications including a legal degree, IACCM or CIPS qualified or equivalent
Gregory Martin also needs an Operational Analyst/Consultant for a successful global professional services & technology partner in Portsmouth, with a unique end-to-end approach to defence, energy and space programmes.
Their client is looking for experienced Operational Analysts at all levels of experience. You will be contributing to and delivering technical consulting projects.
The ideal candidate should have experience in OA techniques including wargaming, simulation, mathematical modelling, data analysis (including Python, Power BI, Tableau etc where required), and strong MS Excel skills. You should also have a maths, science or engineering-based degree.
