Due to expansion they are looking to fill a number of positions, including an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer.
This role will be focused on the site’s military programs, including final and sub-assembly process generation/improvements, MRO/RTW (Return to Work) surveys and manufacturing process generation for complex military fuel tank and canopy assemblies.
You will also provide technical support of probe refuelling equipment, associated build and test processes whilst offering technical shop floor support.
They also need a Manufacturing Engineer in Composites where you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the internal manufacturing process.
This role supports all other functions within the business to ensure the manufacturing engineering team achieves required deliverables. You will need a degree/HNC in engineering or equivalent experience, with a detailed knowledge of composite manufacturing processes.
Other openings include those for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – All Value Streams - Assembly, Composites, Metallics.
This role involves being responsible for all aspects of the internal manufacturing process. You will be also supporting all other functions within the business to ensure the ME team achieve required deliverables. Having had Six Sigma Green Belt training and being certified is desirable.
Gregory Martin is also looking for a Lean Manufacturing Specialist who will train and coach members of the organisation in the use of Lean tools.
You will also play a key supporting role in larger programmes, tackling issues that may require swift problem solving or re-occurring challenges that require in-depth analysis of a range of effective and sustainable countermeasures to effect short-term and some long term business goals
You will require a minimum of two years related Lean/CI experience and knowledge of Value stream Mapping, 5S, TPM, SMED and other lean tools
Lastly, they need a Manufacturing Engineering Process Leader who will be responsible for the overarching definition, improvement & governance of the engineering process structure & bill of materials across all value streams.
You will be a key position, operating in collaboration with the ME Managers and other relevant functional owners to continually evolve and improve the businesses approach to enable critical business outputs, including but not limited to: Costing (Part & Programme) – Hours & Material, Capacity & Load Planning and Improvement Identification / Planning / Validation.
