Engineering Roles in the Aerospace Industry in Southampton

Gregory Martin currently has several roles for a highly successful, international company in Southampton, Hampshire. Leading suppliers of major civil and military aircraft structures and systems, this company offers excellent career progression with continual training and mentoring.

Due to expansion they’re currently looking to fill several roles, including an opening for a 

Tooling Design Engineer.

You’ll be responsible for the design and delivery of new tooling, along with supporting the ongoing maintenance and control of all sustaining tooling, development of tooling process and approaches whilst taking due consideration of any contractual obligations imposed by the customer.

They’re also looking for a Manufacturing Engineer specialising in composites who is 

responsible for all aspects of the internal manufacturing process. 

This role also supports all other functions within the business to ensure the Manufacturing Engineering team achieves required deliverables. You will need a degree/HNC in engineering or equivalent experience and a detailed knowledge of composite manufacturing processes. 

Another role is for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in All Value Streams - Assembly, Composites, and Metallics.

This role you will be responsible for all aspects of the internal manufacturing process. This role you will be also supporting all other functions within the business to ensure ME team achieve required deliverables

You should have a degree/HNC in Engineering or equivalent experience. Good leadership skills including coaching and team engagement is also desirable. 

The company also needs an experienced CNC Machinist/CNC Miller in Southampton.

You will manufacture components in a variety of materials, following detailed drawing specifications to produce high quality parts for aircraft. As CNC Machinist / CNC Miller you would be working to high tolerance and will set and operate CNC machining centres to produce compliant aircraft components to the required quality, within budget and timescales. 

Last but not least, this company in Southampton is seeking a Quality Inspector.
