As Estimator Engineer you would report to the Sales Director. The ideal candidate will be apprentice trained and experienced within CNC Milling / Turning, setting, operating and ideally some programming.You should also have knowledge of the aerospace sub-contracting industry / approvals / contracts.

You will need to have exceptional communication and negotiation skills. The right candidate will also have sound commercial skills with the ability to understand detailed costs and estimates.

As Estimating Engineer, you will be required to:

Manage and nurture client relationships.

• Understand customers’ requirements for new or repeat engineering solutions.
• Manage incoming orders from clients, conducting contract reviews at the soonest opportunity, preparing loading orders onto the system, creating parts and building a BOM.
• Estimating/costing and engineering Manage existing customer accounts to ensure the maintenance of good working relationships and customer service are provided.
• Understand customers’ strategy for engineering requirements and manage customer expectations whilst consistently achieving deadlines.

This role offers a salary between £30,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits. This role is 100% in house role so the successful candidate will need to live a commutable distance from Camberley.
