Latest roles include those for a CNC Turner near Camberley, Surrey

You will be required to perform setting and operating duties in the CNC Turning section machining components from a range of materials. The machine controls are mostly either Mazak or Fanuc. 

 Specific responsibilities include:

  • Setting and operating CNC Turning centres.
  • Occasional editing of programmes.
  • Use of conversational systems like Mazatrol and Hurco (training available).
  • Ensuring that programmes are working effectively.
  • Observing the Company’s health and safety rules.
  • General duties as required conducive to efficient running of the section.

Previous experience must include

  • CNC setting and operating experience – 2 – Axis Turning Centres
  • .Knowledge of CNC programs (Fanuc as well as some Mazatrol or conversational)
  • Accomplished setting and proving skills.
  • Able to understand engineering drawings.
  • Good knowledge of materials, speeds, feeds cutters etc.
  • Able to use measuring instruments – micrometers, verniers etc.
  • Able to work to a high degree of complexity and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise.

You will need to be familiar with mill/turn machines, Y-Axis and/or sub-spindle. Hours of work are 7.30 to 16.30 Monday to Thursday (30 mins lunch) and 7.30 to 12.30 Friday (no lunch) – 39-hour week. This role pays £14 to £20 per hour and plenty of overtime is available at time and a half.

They are also looking for a CMM Quality inspector

This role is for a well-established company also near Camberley, Surrey.  A key task will be to carry 1st off CMM inspection activities, along with the final inspection of predominantly aerospace machined components. 

CMM software used is PC-DMIS so any experience of this would be an advantage.

The basic salary is £35,000 to £45,000 plus excellent benefits including 25 days per annum plus bank holidays. There is also plenty of overtime offered paid at time and half, good pension. 

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07.30 – 16.30 (30 mins break) and Friday 07.30 – 12.30 (no break).

Lastly, they’re also looking for a CNC Sales Manager

This opportunity is at a growing Aerospace Precision Manufacturing Engineering company based near Camberley. 

The ideal candidate would be someone from a Mechanical Engineering/Precision Engineering sales background with understanding of CNC manufacturing. The successful candidate should be outgoing, motivated and looking to add value.

This exciting role is 100% in-house, so the successful candidate will need to live a commutable distance from Camberley, Yateley, Reading, Basingstoke, Woking, Aldershot, Guildford or the surrounding areas. 

Salary is up to £70,000 dependent on experience plus excellent benefits.
