Nonetheless, the employment rate hit a record high in March, with figures largely contradicting EU referendum fears. This is partly because the retirement age has been changed, and women are working much longer; but it’s also because of a strong economy which is managing to withstand such uncertainties. Total wages, including bonuses, have been rising month on month, according to The Guardian.
With the overall employment rate the highest since comparable records began, it’s still a fantastic time to find your dream job.
