The company is looking for an experienced, highly motivated customer-facing Principal Project Manager.
You should have a strong backgroundwithin the defence sector and come from a technical consultancy background, with strong bid management experience. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, line management experience and be able to think strategically.

Qualification/experience required for role :
- APM or equivalent project management qualifications with substantial knowledge of agile project management.
- Be educated to degree-level and/or have equivalent relevant experience.
- A technically astute, highly experienced Programme / Project Manager who has You should have the ability to travel and work from client sites across the UK, predominantly in the South and London as required. However, you may also be required to travel and work on a worldwide basis (occasional). You will also need current SC or DV Clearance/ UK Security Clearance
The salary for this role is £60K-£75K plus pension, medical, life assurance and many other benefits

- Strong track record of delivering projects to time, cost, and quality standards
- Experience working in a consultancy environment or with government clients
- Experience within the defence sector
- Ability to travel to client sites across England as required. (Predominantly South and South-West Regions)
Also desirable:
- Technical specialism in aspects of project management such as risk management, benefits assessment/realisation, stakeholder analysis, requirements management,
- Cost budgeting and forecastingFamiliarity with frameworks such as Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma
