Gregory Martin is currently seeking an Account Lead for the Ministry of Defence (MOD), for a Technical Consultancy in Bristol. 

Ideal for someone with a background in account delivery in the defence sector, this role is great if you have an interest in science and technology. This hybrid role pays £50K-£90K depending on level of experience plus bonus and many benefits.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering science and technology projects in the defence sector. You will be able to develop customer relationships and write and win bids. You must have a good understanding of the UK MOD and international science and technology organisations (like Dstl, Defence Intelligence, UK MOD Warfare Centres and/or NATO).

The consultancy are looking for candidates with a background and skills within one of their exciting disciplines, most likely QA (Operational Analysis), Cost Engineering, P3M or Systems Engineering 

You should also have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a STEM related subject e.g., Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. You will be able need to be a hands on person who can get their sleeves rolled up and get involved in certain projects 

To be successful the Account Delivery Lead will need to work in conjunction with Capability Leads responsible for Operational Analysis, System Engineering, Business Case Approvals, P3M and Cost Engineering, as well as the Commercial, Finance and Security business functions.

Your responsibilities will include working alongside the Client Director to develop and implement the MOD S&T strategy.

The right candidate will also be owning and leading all prospects within the S&T market area by overseeing the activities of Bid Managers and Technical Leads. You will be working in conjunction with the Capability Leads, Commercial, Finance and Security to win sustainable business.

Overseeing projects, you will be regularly reviewing the activities of Project Managers, in order to enhance the reputation of the company and to deliver on time and within budget.
