This role is ideal for candidates with experience in the consultancy environment within the defence sector.
It involves building relationships with new and existing customers. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering analysis programmes, delivering innovative approaches.
You will also have a strong Operational Analysis background, and must be able to support business decisions, policy making and/or research, including both ‘software’ and ‘hard’ techniques (problem structuring and methods).
Senior Systems Engineering Consultant
This position involves delivering analytical and systems engineering support to help clients design systems, optimise solutions, and make better decisions.
You will be working alongside clients, analysing their problems and assessing solutions using systems analysis methods and making recommendations based on robust evidence.
You will be delivering and leading technical consulting projects within sectors such as Maritime, Land and Joint Systems, Space, ILS, and NATO. You must have excellent customer facing experience, and come from a technical consulting background within defence.
Project Controller
As a P3M Consultant (Project Controller), you will play an integral role in supporting customers to deliver key outputs and capabilities to an agreed baseline. You will work closely with national government bodies, international institutions, and global prime contractors, sharing accurate information (KPIs) with stakeholders in a timely manner to ensure correct decisions are made for successful project delivery.
Skills and experience required include proven experience in project, programme, or portfolio management roles. You should also be educated to degree level or equivalent, with a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ChPP, PMQ, PPQ, PRINCE2, MSP).

You will work closely with national government bodies, international institutions and global prime contractors, leading and supporting procurement decisions. The job involves analytical thinking and outcomes, modelling of operational performance and sustainment.
You will have proven experience in a Cost Engineering or Analyst role within a P3M environment. The right candidate will also be educated to degree level or equivalent, with a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CCEA, CPCostE, CEng).
You must have the ability to travel to client sites across the UK as required.
