Current roles they have in defence and security in Bristol include:

Head of Systems & Supportability 

You will be responsible for growing a team around you, and alongside other departments, setting strategy and delivering multi-disciplinary support to some of the most complex Government programmes.

The right applicant will come from a consultancy background or defence background and have excellent people management and communication skills.

You should also have experience in the following areas:

  • Requirements Engineering and Management across all DLoDS
  • System and System of Systems Architecture
  • MBSE Integrated Logistics/Product Support Engineering Management
  • Engineering Governance.

Cost Engineer in Bristol (two candidates required)

As a Cost Consultant you will be delivering technical consulting projects within the defence sector. Essential requirements for this role include:

  • Proven experience in a Cost Engineering or Analyst role within a P3M environment
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent with a professional qualification (e.g. CCEA, CPCostE, CEng)
  • Experience working in the defence sector/ military.
  • Good knowledge of statistics in support of parametric modelling, sampling and risk analysis.
  • Using logical and analytical thinking to solve complex problems for the client.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills to support analysis of data.
  • Risk Management, Risk Analysis,  Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience in analysing project data (cost/risk/schedule).

 It offers a salary £35K-£55K plus bonus, pension, medical and many other benefits.

Project Controls Consultant, P3M Consultant, and Project Manager Consultants (Four required).

You will play an integral role supporting customers to deliver key outputs and capabilities to an agreed baseline. 

You will be working closely with national government bodies, international institutions and global prime contractors, sharing accurate information (KPI’s) with stakeholders to ensure correct decisions are made for successful project delivery .

Skills and experience required for these roles include:

  • Proven experience in project, programme, or portfolio management roles
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ChPP, PMQ, PPQ, PRINCE2, MSP).
  • Strong track record of monitoring projects to time, cost, and quality.
  • Project control, planning and scheduling, project risk, estimating, cost management
  • Experience of working in the defence sector or a military background.
