As CNC Sales Support Engineer your primary function will be to provide support to sales and engineering in delivering customer products and supporting tooling activities to ensure their engineering and production team have everything they need to deliver complete customers’ requirements.
You will be working with both the Sales department and Engineering Departments to achieve the above.
The right candidate must have a sound understanding of production engineering with reference to CNC machining. You will have the ability to plan CNC machining operations.
You will ensure that they are carried out efficiently by using your knowledge of materials.
Experience of CNC machining is essential. You will need to be familiar with ERP or MRP production control systems as well as be able to utilise CAD and Microsoft Office software to produce documentation and reports.
You will be required to work with the Engineering/Programming department and outside suppliers to procure appropriate tools, jigs and fixtures.
This in-house role pays between £30000-35000 plus benefits. It is offered as a contracted 40 hour week, with the right candidate working Monday to Thursday (08:00 – 17:00 with 30 minutes for lunch) and Friday (08:00 – 14:00 with no lunch).
