The UK job market is remaining robust, with businesses keen to find fresh talent this winter. The REC has revealed that there were 256,855 new job adverts in the week of 6-12 February. That means they were up by 26.8% from the previous week and 22.4% from the same period last year.

The Cost Estimator/Consultant role is for a technical consultancy based in Portsmouth, dealing with UK MoD, NATO, defence organisations and the industry. 

Meanwhile, they also need an experienced Cost Estimator/Modeller who will be providing cost estimates and support to help the UK MOD and industry make better decisions.

There are also openings for Analysts and Management Consultants for a Strategy Consultancy based in Winchester. This role is for a company specialising in strategy & decision-making tools and methodologies

Gregory Martin also requires a Senior Operational  Analyst in Winchester to design, develop and run analytical models.

The most suitable candidate should have a strong analytical background along with Advanced Excel skills, software development using Python, VBA, and strong modelling experience . You should also have a strong knowledge and experience of data visualisation tools, including Power BI.

Gregory Martin also has openings for an Operational Analyst for a rapidly growing consultancy in Hampshire.

The right candidate will be providing the evidence to help the UK MOD and industry make better decisions.

You should be highly analytical, have excellent communication & interpersonal skills,  strong report writing and presentation skills.  Competent in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, knowledge of data manipulation and analysis languages (VBA, SQL, Power BI,  R and Python)

Last but not least, they need Systems Engineers in Portsmouth working in government and industry.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in systems engineering and operational research. Alternatively, you should have cost and risk analysis experience. This company has experience within nuclear, defence, space, security and transport sectors. Candidates with  ISTAR, SPACE, SATELLITE SYSTEMS experience would be highly desirable
