This opportunity is for a successful engineering company and is a permanent, full-time role. Since it is 100% in house, candidates need to live within a commutable distance of Camberley. The salary is between £50,000 to £70,000 plus benefits.

What does this role involve?

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the commercial office and manufacturing engineering team.

This role ensures the smooth integration between customer service, planning, design and production processes. You will ensure high standards of quality information, communication, and efficiency. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with hands-on experience managing customer service, engineering manufacturing, and production processes.

Skills and experience 

You will need experience in production, customer service or mechanical engineering roles, with some experience in a leadership or management capacity .Previous experience in aerospace or precision engineering is highly desirable.

You should have experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a manufacturing environment. A strong knowledge of CI principles and production processes are required, along with experience with CAD software. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are a must.
