Firstly, they have an opening for a Cost Estimator/Consultant for a technical consultancy based in Portsmouth, dealing with UK MoD, NATO, defence organisations and the industry. The same company also requires an experienced Cost Estimator/Modeller to provide cost estimates and support to help the UK MOD and industry make better decisions.

They’re also looking for Principal Systems Engineers in Portsmouth for government and industry.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in systems engineering and operational research within the defence sector. you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will be working with clients to analyse problems, capture requirements, create architectures, identify potential options, assess solutions using systems analysis methods; and make recommendations based on robust evidence.
Gregory Martin also has a role for a Part-time Management Accountant in Portsmouth 2-3 days per week.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work as part of a small team in this newly created role to support the finance function.
The successful candidate should ideally be Qualified ACCA, CIMA or Part Qualified AAT or QBE. Responsibilities will include maintaining the bookkeeping on Xero, ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Preparation of monthly management accounts including control of journals depreciation, prepayments, accruals etc.
You will also be running supplier payment runs, ensuring invoices are processed and paid on time in all cases. Previous experience with Xero bookkeeping and of working in a fast-paced role is highly desirable.
