This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a newly formed team in Portsmouth within their digital technology area. Here you will work on a variety of projects evaluating the latest military technology to counter the current and future threats our country faces. You will be involved in Wargaming , Virtual Games, and War Game scenarios.
They also need an experienced Senior Commercial Officer /Assistant Commercial Manager in Portsmouth.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with UK defence terms and conditions and educated to degree-level law or business.
You will be working on a range of proposals and contracts for the MOD. The ideal person will need to have a can -do attitude and strong organisational skills. The company is seeking a progressive person that can go on to become a Commercial Manager in the future.

The most suitable candidate should have a strong analytical background along with Advanced Excel skills, software development using Python, VBA, and strong Modelling experience. You should also have a strong knowledge and experience of data visualisation tools, including Power BI.
You should be highly analytical, have excellent communication & interpersonal skills, strong report writing and presentation skills. The right candidate should also be competent in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, knowledge of data manipulation and analysis languages (VBA, SQL, Power BI, R and Python).
Last but not least, they need Senior/Principal Operational Analysts in Portsmouth.
Strong Defence/MOD background is required for these roles. You will be delivering technical consulting projects and applying OA methods to tackle real world problems, applying tools and techniques, and developing novel approaches when required.
