They also need an experienced Commercial Officer who is familiar with UK defence terms and conditions and educated to degree-level law or business.
You will be working on a range of proposals and contracts for the MOD. The ideal person will need to have a can -do attitude and strong organisational skills. The company is seeking a progressive person that can go on to become a Commercial Manager in the future.
They also have a newly created role for a Finance Manager which can be full or part-time.
This role would suit a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven industry experience seeking a financial manager's role with autonomy.
You will have excellent technical accounting skills. Strong MS Excel and data analysis skills. Experience in Xero accounts and payroll software preferable, but not essential

The most suitable candidate should have a strong analytical background along with Advanced Excel skills, software development using Python, VBA, and strong Modelling experience. You should also have a strong knowledge and experience of data visualisation tools, including Power BI.
You should be highly analytical, have excellent communication & interpersonal skills, strong report writing and presentation skills. The right candidate should also be competent in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, knowledge of data manipulation and analysis languages (VBA, SQL, Power BI, R and Python).
They are also looking for an experienced Project Manager with Frameworks experience and a strong understanding of military terminology.
You will be managing Engineering Frameworks and Projects within the MOD and Defence sector. Managing resources of projects, assisting with bids and client liaison
They’re also looking for Systems Engineers in Portsmouth for government and industry.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in systems engineering and operational research.
