Ready to kick-start your career this summer?
The UK job market is still in good shape despite the stalling economy. The ONS has found that the employment rate has even risen to 75.6% in the three months to April. The number of full-time employees is at an all-time high, with part-time and self-employment below pre-pandemic levels.
However, it’s not all good news: inflation is having an impact on people’s pay. If your salary has been stagnant for a long time, staff shortages across many industries mean it’s a good time to find a new role.
