What skills and experience do you need?
The successful candidate must be educated to degree level, or equivalent relevant experience. You will need to have the ability to apply both ‘soft’ and ‘hard’ systems engineering techniques to support system design/ development, business decision making, policy development, and/or research.
You will use the development, application, and delivery of systems engineering methods, tools and artefacts. The ideal candidates will also have a knowledge and understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
It’s also preferable that you have experience within Space Systems, C4ISTAR, Satellite Systems is preferable. Experience in some of the following is preferable:

They’re also looking for a Graduate Systems Engineer, in particular a recent Systems Engineering Graduate from Loughborough University, University College London (UCL) or University of Warwick.
Full training and mentoring will be given. Candidates need to be familiar with systems engineering life cycles and have a sound understanding of scientific and mathematical techniques. You should also be familiar with systems tools and techniques and have experience defining. There are analysing and documenting requirements (incl. use of DOORS).
